Cross-country skiing in the Eisack Valley: enjoy the beauty of winter
Whether together in a group or with your family – gently glide through the white winter splendor while cross-country skiing. In the Eisack Valley there are many marked cross-country trails, which have a total length of 29 kilometers. The well-groomed trails stand out due to their granted snow. The most popular routes include the Valley station Jochtal round track. The 7.5 km long route runs through an enchanting landscape and has a medium level of difficulty. Alternatively you can choose the particularly snowy Lobenweg-Bacherhütte track in Meransen. Along its 8 kilometer beginners as well as professionals feel comfortable. For those who are planning a longer trip, the most suitable is the Rodenecker-Lüsner alpine track which leads over a distance of 15 kilometers on a double groomed trail. Also on the Fane Alm a cross-country ski track has been marked. Here you will also find opportunities to stop at an inn. Once strengthened the tour goes on to discover the mountains on skis.
